FROM THE FOUNDERS

A note before we begin

For over a decade, our industry — AV, IT, security, automation, building systems — has rewarded us. It has also shown us the same gap every year: bright young people who want to enter this trade, with nowhere to learn it.

We hire by word of mouth. We train on the job. We all complain about the same shortage — and none of us has done much about it. Until now.

We have decided to do something about it.

WHAT WE STAND FOR

We are building India's most comprehensive industry-led training ecosystem for AV, IT, security, automation, and building systems — making world-class skills accessible to underprivileged youth, and giving today's installers the recognition their craft deserves. Within the next decade, every Indian integrator should be able to hire from a recognised national pool of trained, certified professionals.

THE MOMENT WE'RE IN

Two forces are meeting. We can either let them collide — or build a bridge

FORCE ONE

AI is reshaping work

Cognitive work is automating fast. What holds value? The physical, hands-on, real-world skills — installing systems, terminating cables, commissioning at 11pm. That's our trade.

FORCE TWO

India's youth are arriving

62% of India is working-age. Median age: 29. Millions entering the workforce each year without serious technical pathways. Without intervention, our talent shortage gets worse, not better.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

Is the Track One training programme really free?

Yes — completely free for selected students. No tuition fee, no registration fee, no deposit of any kind. The programme is fully funded through CSR contributions, industry donations, and the surplus generated by the Track Two paid certification programme. Selected students also receive tools and a uniform at no cost.

Who is eligible to apply for Track One?

You must be 18 years or older, have completed Class XII or equivalent, have basic English comprehension, and be willing to commit to a 6-month full-time programme. The programme is specifically for young people from families that could not have afforded private technical education.

When does the first cohort start?

The first pilot cohort opens in 2026. It will train 15–20 students fully funded by MCBEE. Applications are being accepted now — places are limited and selection is competitive. Apply early to be considered for the first intake.

What will I learn in the 6-month programme?

The curriculum covers 12 modules: System Design, Installation, Rack Building, Audio-Visual, IT and Networking, Security Systems, Automation, Building Management Systems (BMS), Control Programming, AI Integration, Project and Site Management, and Professional Conduct.

What jobs can I get after completing the programme?

Graduates are placed as AV Technicians, Network Engineers, Security Systems Engineers, Automation Programmers, and BMS Engineers. Year-one monthly salaries typically range from ₹18,000 to ₹30,000. With 3–5 years of specialisation, senior technicians and programmers earn ₹45,000–₹80,000+ per month.

Is MCBEE Skills Foundation a government-recognised institution?

MCBEE Skills Foundation is a Section 8 not-for-profit company registered under the Companies Act, 2013. All courses are designed against the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) from day one. Formal NSQF alignment and government recognition is our 2028 target.

How do I apply for the Track One free training?

Fill in the Student Application form on this page. We will be in touch within 14 days for an interview. There is no fee at any stage of the application or selection process.

I am a working AV or IT installer. How do I get certified?

Track Two is designed for working professionals. Choose a module (AV, IT, Security, Automation, BMS, or Programming), attend weekend and evening sessions, complete a practical assessment on a real system, and receive your certificate. Modules are independent — start with one and stack more over time.

How can our company get involved as an employer or CSR partner?

There are three ways. Integrators and employers can commit to interviewing one graduate per year. Senior practitioners can volunteer one teaching session per quarter. OEMs, distributors, and corporates can support through equipment donation, cohort sponsorship, or a formal CSR partnership (80G-eligible once registration is confirmed).

Is my donation to MCBEE Skills Foundation tax-deductible under Section 80G?

Donations to MCBEE Skills Foundation will be eligible for tax deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961, once our 80G registration is granted. We will issue an 80G certificate within 30 days of receiving your donation. PAN is required.
